UpDate Sessions allow MCS-Ps to get up-to-date on new laws, statutes and regulations while allowing ample time for social activities with new and old friends. These sessions are closed to the public and provide MCS-P, CPC and PAHCOM CEUs Suggestions for locations have indicated a desire to go somewhere fun, where everyone can enjoy their free time, relax and get to know other MCS-Ps. Learning without the pressure of having to take the MCS-P exam was mentioned frequently and considered a plus.

MCS-P UpDate Session Dates: February 20, 21, 22, 2012 (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday til noon) Hotel: Holiday Inn San Antonio Riverwalk Phone: 210-224-2500 www.holidayinn.com/sat-riverwalk The Hotel location is on the banks of the famous Riverwalk which means there is plenty to do and see directly outside of the Hotel doors. The world-famous Alamo is within walking distance. We will also be in close proximity to the Rivercenter Mall, Alamodome and the Market Square. Lots of great food will be nearby at places like El Mercado and the Rainforest Café, just to name a couple options. Also don’t miss Sea World, the San Antonio Museum of Art or the Witte Museum, all great family fun. I think we are going to have a great time!

Shuttle Service: Go Airport Shuttle Website: http://www.saairportshuttle.com/ The Hotel is about 9 mi from the Hotel. GO Airport Shuttle provides regular scheduled shuttle service from the San Antonio International Airport to the downtown hotels from 7:00am to 1:30am daily. Shuttles depart from downtown hotels beginning at 4:00am, approximately every 15 minutes; reservation required. Shuttle tickets are sold at the baggage claim area in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Self parking is available in the hotel garage facility. Charge - $10; discounted day rate Other Hotel Amenities:

Classroom Sessions: A continental breakfast and everything you need for class will be waiting for you. Come a little early, get settled in and meet everyone. I’m looking forward to another great UpDate! Can’t imagine…a “surprise” again this year! H’mmmmm……wonder what it could be? Hint….it will be another year to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Remember this year your registration fee includes your MCT annual fee of $185.00……to be applied beginning January 2012. 20 CEU's will be awarded for the MCS-P UpDate Session which will consist of 20 hours of classroom work over a three-day period. AAPC has given their approval of 18 CEUs for the Update Session. By attending one Update Session, CPCs and MCS-Ps can receive the
required CEUs to maintain both certifications. 10
CEU's will be given for PHIA certifications. The Professional
Healthcare Institute of America gives prior approval for 10 CEUs. The registration fee for the MCS-P UpDate Session is $750.00. Registration is available on the website or by faxing or calling Medical Compliance Training. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express or personal and corporate checks.
